Trainees in the Marshfield Clinic Residency/Fellowship Program rely on accessible attendings, excellent instruction, cutting-edge technology and a competency-based curriculum - all rooted in a family-friendly program and community. ​This is an exciting time for the Marshfield medical campus. Whether you are destined for a small rural community, a large urban practice, a general primary care practice or a subspecialty practice, we are very proud of our reputation for producing some of the best physicians in the nation. ​​Our emphasis is on training physicians to be ready to either enter primary care practice immediately following graduation or to pursue fellowships for specialized training in an area of the physician's interest.

Resident Research

​Marshfield Clinic's Resident Research Program provides an exceptional clinical and/or public health research experience in a community-based setting and strives to expand upon the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirements. ​

​Marshfield Clinic's Resident Well-Being Committee promotes a healthy and humane learning and work environment for residents and fellows by 'shining a light' on those resources currently available to them.​​​
