At Marshfield Clinic Health System, we put your safety, health and well-being at the forefront of every decision we make during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our providers and staff are working tirelessly to ensure that your safety is always our top priority. We continue to update the way we deliver care based on the latest guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
We are resuming services in a safe, responsible manner
We know there are plenty of health needs outside of COVID-19. That’s why our hospitals and emergency departments are open 24/7 and many of our urgent care and walk-in locations are open, too. We are dedicated to providing the services you rely on while keeping you safe.
We are, and will continue to be, here for you.
Telehealth from home appointments are available
We offer telehealth from home visits. These appointments help you stay connected to your provider via telephone, laptop, smartphone or other mobile device — all without having to leave your home. Contact your provider to discuss if a telehealth from home visit is right for you.
COVID-19 testing is offered
We know COVID-19 testing is an important step in helping make our communities safer and healthier places. We are proud to offer PCR testing and serology testing in our communities.

Setting up your appointment
You can check-in ahead of time
Registration and check-in are being made available by phone prior to your appointment. This reduces the need to stand in line and time spent in waiting areas.
Arriving for your appointment
You’ll be screened at the entrance
To ensure our facilities are safe, we have a
screening process in place for all patients and staff that enter our facilities. This helps us ensure that patients and staff at our facilities are healthy and do not have indicators that suggest they may need further evaluation for COVID-19.
Our providers and staff will be wearing masks
Our providers and staff, as well as patients and visitors, are required to wear a mask. There are some exceptions and situations for when patients do not need to wear a mask. You will be given a mask at the entrance if you do not have one. If you have one, please wear it to your appointment.
We have implemented temporary visitor restrictions
In an effort to keep patients and staff safe, we are temporarily prohibiting visitors from entering Marshfield Clinic Health System. There are exceptions and situations where adult visitors may be allowed. All visitors are required to wear a mask.
During your appointment
Your care team will remain masked
Our staff will continue to follow proper PPE guidelines throughout your appointment.
Rooming is done quickly to reduce waiting time
Our goal is to minimize time in the waiting room so that your visit can be as efficient and effective as possible.
Appropriate cleaning and disinfection practices are used
These guidelines are followed in every area throughout our facilities. We encourage patients to use hand sanitizers and appropriate hand washing frequently. Ample hygiene supplies are available in public areas.
You will receive first-class care
Our commitment to safety does not change our mission to deliver the high-quality, patient-centered care you expect from Marshfield Clinic Health System. Your visit will be comprehensive and professional.
