Lab tests any time

Direct access testing is available at select Marshfield Clinic locations. This convenient service gives you the ability to order certain lab tests quickly and confidentially without a referral from a provider.


Testing offered

All our direct access testing lab locations offer a variety of tests to help you understand your health. All testing is performed in our accredited labs.

Any person under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who can consent to testing. Minors in certain states may consent to diagnostic testing for sexually transmitted diseases/infections, drug abuse and pregnancy. Please consult with laboratory staff for more details.

Payment is required at the time of service and insurance won’t be billed. We accept cash, health savings account (HSA) cards and all major credit cards.

Screening/wellness panels

General wellness panel ($60)
Includes MPC, CBC with differential, lipid panel and TSH

Men’s health panel ($120)
Includes MPC, CBC with differential, lipid panel, TSH, hemoglobin A1C (GH), CRP high sensitivity (cardiac), prostate-specific antigen (PSA) and total testosterone

Women’s health panel ($120)
Includes MPC, CBC with differential lipid panel, TSH, hemoglobin A1C (GH), CRP high sensitivity (cardiac), iron, total iron binding capacity and progesterone

Celiac panel ($80)
Includes tissue transglutaminase IgA antibody, gliadin IgA and IgG antibodies, total IgA and endomysial IgA antibody

Comprehensive metabolic panel ($15)
Includes albumin, alkaline phosphatase, bilirubin total, calcium, carbon dioxide (CO2), chloride, creatinine, glucose, potassium, sodium, SGOT (AST), SGPT (ALT), total protein and urea nitrogen (BUN)

Lipid panel ($15)
Includes cholesterol, triglyceride, high-density lipoprotein (HDL) and low-density lipoprotein (LDL)

Liver function tests ($15)
Includes albumin, alkaline phosphatase, bilirubin total, bilirubin direct (calculation), bilirubin indirect, SGOT (AST), SGPT (ALT) and total protein

Immunity panel ($70)
Includes measles IgG antibody, mumps IgG antibody and rubella IgG antibody

Thyroid antibody panel ($60)
Includes thyroid peroxidase antibody and thyroglobulin antibody

Thyroid panel ($30)
Includes free T4 (thyroxine) and TSH
