Brian Rougeux, DPM

A specialist in podiatry

Dr. Brian Rougeux has always had a keen interest in helping people which made his choice to become a podiatrist an easy one.

"Growing up my father worked in the medical field as a physician assistant in orthopedic surgery," he said. "I could hear the joy in his stories of helping people in the community and I knew that medicine is what I wanted to do with my life."

Dr. Rougeux has comprehensive training in all aspects of foot and ankle pathology, including bunion pain, ingrown nails, plantar fasciitis, fractures, sprains, foot and ankle reconstruction and generalized foot care.

"Podiatry allows me the opportunity to work with patients of all ages in a surgical and nonsurgical environment," he said. "I enjoy treating a wide variety of foot-related issues and often see my patients walk out of my office feeling better after their first appointment."

In his role as a podiatrist, Dr. Rougeux sees patients with a wide variety of foot and ankle conditions.

"I believe in treating patients as a whole as opposed to a foot-centric approach. The most important elements in treating patients is communication and care," Rougeux said. "Communication means not only informing my patients of their diagnosis, but also relaying that information in a way that they can understand. I treat all my patients as if they are a part of my own family."
