“I enjoy the challenge of
helping people through their life journey. That includes solving problems when
possible, but often managing chronic issues as best as possible when there
isn’t a clear solution.”
Dr. David Holz is a board-certified family medicine physician who has experience with a wide spectrum of medical care.
“From pediatrics to senior care, I see myself as a guidepost for patients to get care, advice or motivation, when needed," said Dr. Holz. “I do all of this while navigating our sometimes-complex medical system and sorting through vast amounts of medical information readily available."
Dr. Holz didn't enter the field of medicine right away. He earned a master's degree in history and farmed for several years.
“Both of these non-medical experiences are part of who I am and inform my practice of medicine," Dr. Holz said.
Dr. Holz still runs a hobby farm near Iola. Besides agriculture, he enjoys cross country skiing, hiking, photography and astronomy. He is married with two grown daughters.
