Rehabilitation assists with physical or cognitive improvement after injury. We evaluate each patient to provide care unique to their needs with the goal of helping patients return home. Evaluations determine:

Marshfield Medical Center has a 21-bed inpatient unit for rehabilitative care. Our teams are well-experienced in caring for strokes, brain injuries and multiple traumas. We also see amputees, Guillain Barre Syndrome, spinal cord injuries and other rehabilitation diagnoses.
Our inpatient rehabilitation programs' interdisciplinary teams have experts from a variety of specialties and experiences working together to provide your care. You have access to therapy Monday through Saturday and receive 3 hours of therapy daily at least 5 days per week.

Additionally, our Adolescent and Children's program team includes a child life specialist, music therapist, school tutor, pediatric psychologist and assistive technology practitioner.
