Caring for Communities is our promise and commitment to live our mission of enriching lives to create healthy communities. We care for our communities each day through community health programming, community investment funding, and providing volunteers and other community involvement activities such as guest speakers and participating on community boards.

Community investment funding
MCHS is proud to invest in hundreds of communities and community organizations each year. Our Caring for Communities community investment funding supports important programs and services, events and community organizations that share our commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve.
Addressing Food Insecurity
Food insecurity—defined as limited or uncertain access to adequate food—remains a significant challenge for many households. It can lead to preventable health issues, increased stress, and reduced quality of life. Marshfield Clinic and Security Health Plan hope to foster sustainable solutions that make a meaningful impact. Nearly $180,000 were awarded to community-led organizations that will address local food insecurities and promote healthier lives across Wisconsin.
