Thomas Leschke, MD

A specialist in hand surgery

Dr. Thomas Leschke is a fellowship-trained hand surgeon. He treats patients with conditions or injuries to their hands and upper extremities with the goal to decrease pain, restore function and restore qualities of life.

Dr. Leschke fell in love with the anatomy of the hand. He specializes in microsurgery, where he restores function to significantly damaged hands. "I love giving people their hands back after a lifetime of affliction, pain, and restoring the ability to do the things they love," he said.

He listens to patient concerns, and works together to create a plan that addresses their concerns in the most effective manner. "I hope patients feel that I am a good listener, and I take time to address their needs and concerns," Dr. Leschke said.

Dr. Leschke earned his medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and completed his residency in general surgery at Marshfield Clinic Health System. He completed his fellowship at Christine M Kleinert Institute for Hand & Microsurgery in Louisville, Kentucky.
