​​As a nuclear medicine physician, Dr. John Dahlin specializes in using small amounts of radioactive material to diagnose and treat diseases.

His interests include PET scans, cancer and rare, challenging cases involving specialty exams performed only a few times a year.

Dr. Dahlin takes pride in explaining treatment and tests to patients so they understand the disease process and how to proceed with medical care as a team.​​

"I believe in treating patients with the same detailed care and providing the most accurate information, as I would provide for a family member," he said.​​

​​Dr. Dahlin earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. He completed nuclear medicine residency at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) fellowship at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

​​After practicing in Marquette, Michigan for six years, he joined Marshfield Clinic in 2015 to be closer to his wife’s hometown of Merrill. Dr. Dahlin hails from Chicago.
