Dr. Dominee Miranda Manzon, a board-certified family
medicine physician, grew up
surrounded by doctors.
“My mom, dad and sisters are all doctors,
so growing up in that environment,
I was exposed to a wide variety of
health care,” she said.
From well-child exams to chronic adult diseases like hypertension and diabetes, Dr. Manzon treats a wide variety in family medicine.
“I wanted to care for people of all ages
and be able to work with a diversity of
cases, from kids to seniors,” she said.
If a patient of hers was talking with a friend, she would hope the patient would say she is a “caring physician” who listens and tends to their needs.
Dr. Manzon completed her family medicine
residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford, Illinois.
Dr. Manzon and her husband, Dr. Hector Manzon, are both physicians at Stevens Point Center. The two met in medical school in the Phillippines, but completed separate residency programs for three years. They are happy to be at Marshfield Clinic Health System, where they can be at the same location.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading
and cooking.
