Dr. Kyle Dennison practices general podiatry, treating a variety of foot and ankle problems, including bunions, hammertoes, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, ankle sprains, corns or calluses, warts, neuropathy, flat feet, diabetic foot wounds, tarsal tunnel syndrome and arthritis.
“Seeing the amount of relief patients received from podiatric treatment while shadowing physicians in college left a significant impact on me," Dr. Dennison said. “The opportunity podiatry offers to treat ailments both medically and surgically provides me with flexibility and enhances the manner in which I'm able to care for my patients."
Dr. Dennison believes strongly in providing patient education as a staple of his practice. Being able to explain a patient's condition and resulting treatment options in plain language is a priority, and he believes this results in improved patient outcomes.
“My goal is for my patients to be just as much a part of the health care team as the physician and staff," Dr. Dennison said. “I feel that having patients more directly involved in their care leads to more informed decisions, deeper understanding and overall improved results post-treatment."
Dr. Dennison earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Ill. He also completed residency in Podiatric Medicine & Surgery at Madison VA Hospital.
In his free time, Dr. Dennison enjoys hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and riding his ATV. He was born and raised in Wisconsin, and likes playing tennis and disc golf when the weather is nice.
