Dr. Christopher Ordonez, pediatrician, sees patients for well-child visits, helps manage chronic medical conditions, assists with behavioral and social concerns and treats urgent and emergency care concerns.

As a pediatrician, Dr. Christopher Ordonez takes a preventive approach to your child's health. He provides well-child visits, treats children when they are sick and manages chronic or ongoing medical conditions. In addition, he has several years of expertise working with behavioral and social concerns and urgent and emergency care needs.

Dr. Ordonez is a board-certified pediatrician who completed his residency/specialty in pediatrics at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine – Jackson Memorial Hospital.

To help provide the best care to families when they need it most, Dr. Ordonez sees patients during clinic business hours, as well as offers care during extended evening hours.

He has the desire to make a difference in the lives of children with physical, social or behavioral health conditions.

"Children are our future and I know that early medical intervention will give them the chance to be healthy and develop into productive adults," Ordonez said.

He believes having children participate in activities they enjoy is a great way to promote a healthy lifestyle. For instance, Ordonez enjoys football, soccer and martial arts to stay active.

“It's not just about making sure the child is growing and meeting their milestones and eating. There's a lot of things involved to make sure a child is healthy," he said.

He also wants his patients and families to know he's on their team and will work collaboratively with them to meet their goals.

"I try to have empathetic interactions with parents so that I can inform them about their child's health," Ordonez said. "I don't just let them know what I think. I take into account what they want, too. I want to help improve their health and needs to help them feel better."

Dr. Ordonez enjoys playing the guitar including classic and contemporary music. He is fluent in three languages including English, Italian and Spanish.
