What to expect at your appointment
Your dermatologist will start by reviewing your concerns, medical history and symptoms with you and perform a focused skin exam. This information will help them create a personalized treatment plan and identify if biopsies or procedures are potentially needed. They will walk you through all of your next steps and give you clear instructions, follow-up timing and let you know how to reach them if additional questions come up.
Easy ways to prepare before your visit:
- Complete the questionnaire to help us know more about you
- Make a list of concerns and when they started
- Bring your meds and products (or photos of labels)
- Note prior treatments and what helped or didn’t
- Take clear photos of intermittent rashes if they’re not visible on the day of your visit
