As a gastroenterologist, Dr. Tanimu
specializes in diagnosing and treating
conditions involving the gastrointestinal
tract. He helps people with problems
related to the entire digestive process.
Dr. Tanimu advocates using the latest
technologies, including endoscopic
ultrasoundfor better imaging, to better
plan the right choice of treatments. “It’s
always important to know exactly what
you’re dealing with to help determine which
types of treatments to offer,” he says. This
can help patients that don’t really need
surgery avoid it, and for those that do need
it, give their physician the ability to know
exactly what they’re dealing with before
performing surgery. An avid soccer player, Dr. Tanimu also
enjoys tennis, traveling and reading.
