Physician Assistant Megan Ebert has always had interest in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN). While in school, her attraction turned into passion after completing the OB/GYN rotation.
"I loved the mix of clinic and surgery, but was most drawn to the challenge of making women feel comfortable discussing sensitive topics," Megan said.
As a physician assistant, Megan is able to work independently and with her OB/GYN team on a daily basis. She enjoys getting to know her patients through office visits as well.
Megan cares for women during annual appointments, prenatal and postpartum visits, along with preventative care like breast and pelvic screenings. In addition, she assists on the surgical side for gynecology concerns.
"Women's health can be a very sensitive subject for patients and it's my goal to make them feel welcomed, heard and cared for by the end of their visit," she said.
Megan earned her bachelor's degree in biology with minors in chemistry and psychology at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2017, and completed her master's degree of physician assistant studies at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa in 2019.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys outdoor activities including hiking and fishing. She also likes working out at the YMCA and reading a good book. She and her husband, Tyler, enjoy exploring the Marshfield area together.
