Kirsten Carly Krohn (formerly Webb), M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist who practices general dermatology, performing skin cancer screenings and treating common skin diseases like acne, psoriasis, eczema, and numerous other rashes. Dr. Krohn also has a keen interest in managing autoimmune diseases like lupus and vitiligo.
“I enjoy diagnosing and treating complex medical conditions,” Dr. Krohn said. “I spend a lot of time researching less common and difficult to manage conditions so that I am able to serve as a valuable resource to my patients. Being able to provide my patients with their best chance at recovery or improvement and to positively impact their lives is something I’m really passionate about.”
In addition to performing skin cancer excisions, Dr. Krohn provides select cosmetic services including Botox injections and removal of undesired skin lesions.
“It is important to listen closely to every patient so that we can work together to customize a plan that is best for their unique condition,” said Dr. Krohn. “I believe a personalized approach combined with my experience yields the best results.”
Dr. Krohn attended medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine in Chicago and earned her Bachelor of Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Urbana, Ill. She served an internship as an internal medicine resident physician at Northwestern McGaw Medical Center in Chicago and completed her residency in dermatology at Loyola University.
In her spare time, Dr. Krohn enjoys hiking, reading, playing tennis and traveling the world.
