“I feel so fortunate to be in this position. I enjoy working with patients and helping them reach their goals.”
Gregor Wenig knew he wanted to be in
health care from the time he was in high
school. After job shadowing a physical
therapist, he realized it was the field for him.
“Physical therapy allows you to see patients
from start to finish, and you may get to see
them a couple times a week,” Gregor said.
“I like that chance to build relationships
with my patients and help them get better.
You get to see the impact you’re making
with patients, and that is truly rewarding.”
He primarily sees patients with orthopedic
injuries, from low back and neck pain to
joint pain. He also helps people improve
their strength and balance.
A key focus for Gregor is to make sure he always provides individualized care.
“I try not to stick to one specific protocol,” he said. “I try to tailor my care to each individual and what needs the patient
may have.”
Gregor earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Carroll University in Waukesha.
It was also at Carroll University that he received his bachelor’s degree in biology.
When he’s not at work, Gregor likes to spend time watching sports. He is a big
fan of the Badgers, Packers and Bucks.
He also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
