Amaris Vesely chose a career in the field of medicine because it combines the skills of her heart and mind to care for patients by providing skilled heath care.
She received her family nurse practitioner degree from Chamberlain University and is a board-certified nurse practitioner.
In family medicine, Vesely sees patients of all ages for general primary care, chronic diseases, such as hypertension and diabetes, and well-child exams.
“It is important to me to understand the patient's goals for their health and well-being. From there, we can make an attainable, personalized plan of care to achieve them," she said.
Vesely especially enjoys connecting with her patients and hearing their stories.
“I hope my patients would say I am a kind and knowledgeable provider," she said.
Outside of work, Vesely likes to bake bread, play the flute, practice speaking Spanish and ice skate.
