What is digital registration?
Digital registration is a process that allows you to fill in your pre-appointment forms online prior to checking in for your appointment. You will be sent a text or email, based on the method you choose for you and your family, to fill out any necessary forms and check that all existing information is correct. You can complete your digital registration at home or while on-the-go.
- Text messages will come from “75442” with a link to checkin.marshfieldclinic-mail.org
- Emails will come from “Marshfield Clinic firstname.lastname@example.org”
You will continue to receive text message and email notifications until your registration is complete.
If you have digitally registered before your appointment, you can proceed to the front desk to let staff know you have arrived.

Why is texting or emailing not a secure form of communication?
There are limitations to the security and privacy of text and emails being sent outside of Marshfield Clinic Health System. Due to the sender of the text or email having no control over the final destination of the messages, they cannot be considered secure forms of communication. The original message could be forwarded by the intended receiver to another party or intercepted while in transit.
