MINOCQUA – Marshfield Clinic Health System began seeing cardiology patients Oct. 18 at the Marshfield Medical Center-Minocqua campus. Patients previously saw their Marshfield Clinic cardiology specialists at Howard Young Medical Center.
Cardiology patients will now have the luxury of being able to see their primary care provider and cardiology specialist in the same building. The Marshfield Medical Center-Minocqua (medical offices) cardiology department features one full-time and one part-time cardiologist with two other outreach providers also on site during the week.
“It's great to finally have cardiology under the same roof with our referring providers and ancillary services," said Cardiologist Dr. Michael McGill. “We are now able to offer patients all of their care in one facility."
