Patients and visitors of Lakeview Medical Center and Marshfield Clinic Rice Lake Center will soon see a new name and logo reflected on signs and in other Rice Lake medical campus communications.
Both the hospital and clinic are part of Marshfield Clinic Health System, which continues to transform into an integrated health care system of hospital and clinic services, and health insurance products across central, western and northern Wisconsin. Effective Sept. 12, Lakeview Medical Center and Marshfield Clinic Rice Lake Center will be renamed Marshfield Medical Center-Rice Lake.
"This name change reflects the intent to be one system of care, strengthens our presence across our service area and increases continuity in the care of our patients," said Lakeview Medical Center Chief Administrative Officer Brad Groseth.
The new logo:
"Our patients and the community have always viewed us as a system of care, and we now have the opportunity to continue the high-quality service that we've had in the past in a much more streamlined, seamless and comprehensive manner," said Marshfield Clinic Rice Lake Center Regional Operations Administrator Jolene Anderson. "We're excited and honored to continue to serve the community as Marshfield Medical Center-Rice Lake."
Groseth added that, for patients, the high-level care remains the same. Patients will continue to receive excellent quality health care services from the same world-class physicians they have come to know and trust.
Transition to the new name will take place over a period of several weeks and will be visible in advertising, mailings and patient communication.
