MARSHFIELD – Keep your children protected this season by saying, “Boo to the Flu" and get your child's influenza vaccination. Marshfield Children's invites parents and their children to attend Boo to the Flu at Marshfield Medical Center from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29.
Check-in at Marshfield Medical Center (Medical Offices), 1000 N. Oak Ave., Pediatrics – Desk 1A. Appointments are recommended; call 715-387-5251 or schedule online.
The event aims to create a fun and positive experience for kids in the community ahead of the flu and spooky season. Children, ages 6 months to 18 years old, are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes.
Getting a flu vaccine each year is the most effective way to prevent influenza. Research shows that vaccination significantly reduces the risk of hospitalization and death due to flu.
