A specialist in physical therapy
While helping her mother at a young age with exercises after a wrist fracture, Ann Hall was drawn to physical therapy.
"It was satisfying to help my mom through her experience and celebrate as she made progress," Ann recalled.
Ann earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and a doctorate degree in physical therapy, both from Carroll University in Waukesha.
"I feel that my background in psychology has also impacted how I treat patients because pain can have a profound impact on a person’s psychological well-being," she said. "As someone who has been in physical therapy after a low back injury, I can relate to people who have battled ongoing pain and I know how mentally exhausting it can be."
She said it’s important to her to use her knowledge to help others understand their pain and to teach them tools they can use to continue treating themselves after they are done seeing her.
Ann also is certified in the LSVT BIG® program for patients with Parkinson’s disease and is a certified myofascial trigger point therapist (CMTPT) for dry needling treatment.
Originally from Wisconsin Rapids, Ann lives in Weston and enjoys exercising, reading and spending time with her husband and son.
