Andrew Oebser, PT

A specialist in physical therapy

Dr. Andrew Oebser became interested in health care after a sports injury in high school. He chose to focus on orthopedics and sports medicine in order to help people in similar situations return to what they enjoy in life.

As a board-certified orthopedic physical therapist, Dr. Oebser enjoys working with patients who have lower and upper extremity injuries, post-operative patients, those with spinal injuries or disorders such as neck, low back, sacroiliac joint dysfunction and industrial and sports related injuries.

He has a focus on providing evidenceinformed medicine in the areas of manual therapy, pain science education and orthopedics. Dr. Oebser makes an effort to listen to his patient’s concerns, answer questions and concerns. He tries to go above and beyond to help the patient reach their goals and return to what they enjoy doing.

"My overarching goal at the end of the day is to return a patient to their life and give them the tools needed to continue on their own," he said.

Dr. Oebser graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree and Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with a Biomedical concentration. He received his specialized physical therapy training residency at Marshfield Clinic Health System.

In his spare time, he likes to get outside to hike, bicycle, ski, fish, hunt or participate in other sporting or recreational activities in the area. He grew up in the small town Elk Mound, Wisconsin and feels Rusk county has a similar lifestyle.
