Healthy Solutions® by HMR® can help you lose 20 to 30 pounds in just 12 weeks. The weight loss program includes an extensive weight maintenance program to assist you in losing a few more pounds or to keep you at your ideal weight.

Short-term weight loss programs are effective but old habits may return after the diet ends. A medically managed weight loss program can help you lose substantial amounts of weight and keep it off.

Bariatric support group

If you have had bariatric surgery or are interested in learning more about bariatric surgery, please join us! Our bariatric support groups are designed to provide individuals with an opportunity to share information, offer support, gain insight and become aware of options in dealing with the challenges of living with morbid obesity.

Various speakers, including registered dietitians, exercise specialists, psychologists, physicians and bariatric surgery patients will share their knowledge and experiences on a variety of topics of interest to bariatric support group participants.

The Marshfield Clinic bariatric support groups are peer-run groups. We are not doctors. We are people who have had to deal with morbid obesity and we understand how important support can be. The bariatric support group is for informational purposes only. It should not be used as a substitute for consultation or care with your medical doctor, surgeon or health care professional.

Overeaters Anonymous

Overeaters Anonymous (OA) offers a program of recovery from compulsive overeating using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of OA. Worldwide meetings and other tools provide a fellowship of experience, strength and hope where members respect one another's anonymity. OA charges no dues or fees. It is self-supporting through member contributions.

Unlike other organizations, OA is not just about weight loss, obesity or diets. It addresses physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. It is not a religious organization and does not promote any particular diet. To address weight loss, OA encourages members to develop a food plan with a health care professional and a sponsor.
