Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant Zane Sarafiny said his love of learning paired with strengths in empathy and compassion drew him to medicine.
“I treat every person as if they were my family," he said. “I will go above and beyond to help my patient understand and come to a decision about medical processes. This can be done with honesty, compassion, and education which are pillars of practice."
Occupational Health allows Sarafiny to provide a full spectrum of care that involves preventative medicine and problem-based medicine. As your Occupational Health provider, he will manage work-place injuries, pre-employment physicals, occupational hazard surveillance and more.
Sarafiny earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Carroll University in Waukesha. He is board certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Outside of work, Sarafiny enjoys spending time with his wife, Kailey. As an Iron River, Michigan native, he is happy to provide health care for the community he grew up in.
Sarafiny and his wife enjoy walks, camping, kayaking and snowshoeing. Other hobbies of his include playing tennis and watching Green Bay Packer football.
