“Building a lasting relationship with kids and families makes my work fulfilling."
Dr. Samantha Eastberg entered the mental health field out of a desire to help children and families, and because of her fascination with human behavior. She sees children with a wide variety of diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral problems, developmental concerns and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
In her approach to patient care, it is important for Dr. Eastberg to make her patients feel seen and heard.
“I want my patients to really feel I am spending time tailoring my interventions to them and their needs," she said.
Dr. Eastberg strives to be warm, understanding and helpful in the care she provides.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Ripon College in Wisconsin. Her doctorate of philosophy in educational psychology comes from the University of Nebraska.
When she is not working, Dr. Eastberg enjoys spending time with her family and their three cats.
