Dr. Omar Al Masri had a goal to make children's life better.

As a pediatric nephrologist, he cares for patients with disorders of the kidneys.

“I want to create a team approach to provide the best standard of care to children with kidney diseases," he said.

Dr. Al Masri treats pediatric patients for chronic kidney disease, dialysis, kidney transplant, acute kidney injury, nephrotic syndrome, hemolytic uremic syndrome, hypertension, hydronephrosis, Bartter syndrome, urinary tract infection (UTI), congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract, Vesicoureteral reflux (VUR), multicystic kidneys, polycystic kidneys and more.

“In my practice, the patient comes first. I focus on optimal outcomes and an enjoyable journey. Communication with patients and their family is essential," he said.

He's most passionate about seeing his patients recover from kidney disease and enjoying a great quality of life.

Outside of health care, he enjoys engaging with nature, gardening, spending quality time with his family, collecting watches and old coins and target shooting at outdoor ranges.

Dr. Al Masri is married and has one son and five daughters, including triplets.
