“I hope patients feel I am kind, approachable and someone who really listens and makes them feel comfortable.”
Morgan Nordbeck is a board-certified physician assistant who cares for women who are experiencing high-risk pregnancies. Common conditions she treats includes gestational diabetes, hypertension, preeclampsia and multiple gestations such as twins or triplets. Nordbeck also provides care when patients have underlying health conditions that can affect pregnancies like heart disease or autoimmune disorders.
Listening to and supporting patients is at the center of Morgan’s care.
“I am most passionate about building strong relationships with patients and supporting them through some of the most important moments of their lives,” she said.
Early in her training Nordbeck found fulfillment learning about women’s health and how she could make a difference for her patients.
“I am excited to care for women with high-risk pregnancies and help guide them through such an important time in their lives,” Morgan said.
Morgan grew up in Marshfield. She volunteered with Marshfield Clinic and later worked as a medical assistant and certified nursing assistant. “Marshfield is my home, and I am excited to continue serving the community as a provider,” she said.
Morgan earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and her Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
While not at work, Morgan enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. She loves hiking, golfing, water-skiing and downhill and cross-country skiing.
