Dr. Matthew Biller was introduced to the medical field by his mom who was a nurse. He is passionate about mental health, which is affected by many factors including genetics, living situation, social support, and more.
“I get joy out of helping people to live better lives to their full potential," Dr. Biller said.
He started caring for the geriatric population in high school as a waiter at an assisted living facility. He has always enjoyed working with older adults because he said, “they have so much to teach us."
In his practice, Dr. Biller cares for patients with depression, anxiety, insomnia, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, dementia, PTSD, substance use disorders, along with dementia diagnosis and management.
“I take the time to listen and get a good understanding of the whole person," he said. “It is also important we come up with a treatment plan together, so I strive to listen to patient feedback about what I propose."
Outside of work, Dr. Biller enjoys going for walks, exploring his local community and its restaurants. He also enjoys video games, exercising, and lifting weights.
