“I have been surrounded by medicine my entire life and have always been drawn to it. My goal is to be there when my patients need me. To listen and help them through some of the most difficult events of their lives."
Mallory O'Brien is a Physician Assistant who sees healthcare as a collaborative effort. Using her knowledge and training to inform her patients of their options and including them in the decision-making process.
“I am very passionate about preventative medicine. I aim to fully explain and educate the patient about the importance of lifestyle changes and why they should care about their health."
She treats common acute illnesses like diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, anxiety, depression, and heart disease.
“I had my first clinical rotation at Marshfield Clinic, and I knew that I wanted to return. I love the UP and have always wanted to go somewhere that I could really make a difference. I know that the UP is always looking for healthcare providers. PAs are important in increasing access to healthcare and that's what I intend to do."
