“I enjoy helping patients find solutions to problems that affect their everyday lives.”
Nurse Practitioner Kelly Noreen specializes in treating patients with irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, acid reflux and liver disease.
“I collaborate with physicians to make sure patients are getting the best care possible,” Kelly said. “We work as a team to get patients evaluated promptly and ensure they get the care they need.”
Kelly enjoys the variety of diseases she’s able to treat in gastroenterology as well as the balance of clinical and hospital work.
She said developing her practice in gastroenterology has been a rewarding process. One of the aspects of her work she enjoys most is developing relationships with her patients.
“I enjoy getting to know patients and their families and establishing a trusting relationship as we often need to work through difficult issues and some may be lifelong issues,” Kelly said.
Kelly graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a master’s degree in nursing in 2006. Prior to working in gastroenterology, Kelly worked in Surgical Oncology at Marshfield Medical Center.
When she’s not at work, Kelly enjoys watching her son’s sporting events and traveling to her family’s cabin in northern Wisconsin where they fish, boat and relax. She also enjoys spending time with her spirited daughter. Kelly is married with two children.
