Joshua Sampson, D.O. and his wife, Alison Sampson, D.O., are both practicing OB-GYNs at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield. They met in medical school and agreed on Marshfield Clinic Health System because both sought the combination of living in a small community but practicing in a tertiary care center.
Dr. Sampson is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and earned a minimally invasive gynecologic surgery focused practice designation by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2023.
Dr. Sampson loves his medical specialty. “Whether it is helping women during their pregnancies or women who are in a different stage of life and need assistance in dealing with bleeding problems, prolapse or incontinence, I have the best job in the world," he said.
Outside of work, he enjoys bicycling, painting, snowboarding, and playing with his kids. He and his wife have a son, and three daughters. Dr. Sampson is from a small community in Nebraska and his wife is from rural northwest Wisconsin.
