“My father was my inspiration to enter into healthcare. He served the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for over 30 years as an ENT physician. I have immense admiration for him, as I witnessed the impact he had on his patients and our community. I am striving to do the same."
Caroline Tuchowski, a talented physician assistant provides compassionate, quality care to her patients with a variety of health conditions. Her practice focuses on internal medicine encompassing annual health maintenance visits, management of acute and chronic illnesses, and preventative care. She also specializes in treating individuals with musculoskeletal and rheumatologic conditions.
“My philosophy is that I treat my patients as if they are my own family members. Every person deserves the same level of compassion, respect and attention to detail when it comes to their health care. People tend to be anxious when they walk into a doctor's office, as there can be many unknowns. My goal is to be there every step of the way and work to attain the best possible outcome for my patients."
Tuchowski's healthcare career began in Fort Collins, Colorado, where she worked in a rheumatology clinic for the past seven years. Born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, she feels privileged to return home to serve the residents of Upper Michigan.
Tuchowski holds both a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. She is also board certified by the NCCPA.
When she is not working, Tuchowski enjoys participating in outdoor activities including snowboarding, backcountry camping, boating and golfing. She also takes great joy in cooking and has recently tried her hand at growing and maintaining a vegetable garden.
