“I want my patients to feel comfortable
throughout their treatment and to know
that I will be there to help them through it.”
Inspired to practice medicine in part by his grandmother’s fight with colon cancer, Dr. Bevan Ly pursued a career in radiation oncology.
“Radiation is a highly effective treatment using sophisticated technology to help fight your illness,” he said. “I enjoy the different technologies and innovations in this specialty.”
Dr. Ly has special interest in treating prostate, bladder, breast and lung cancers, but he enjoys the challenge of caring for all patients.
“I want my patients to see me as someone they can rely on for their medical care,” he said.
Ly earned his medical degree from University of Hawaii John A. Burns
School of Medicine. He completed a general internal medicine internship at North Shore – Long Island Jewish Health System in Long Island, New York and radiation oncology residency at University of Miami School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Though he was raised in Hawaii, Dr. Ly didn’t let the prospect of cold Wisconsin winters prevent him from bringing his medical practice to Weston.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, watching football, barbecuing and snowboarding.
