Marion Summers has had a stellar career
as a psychotherapist in Eau Claire. A 1998
graduate of Portland State University with
a master’s degree in social work, Marion
has found a home in the Chippewa Valley
where she has seen patients at Marshfield
Clinic since 2002. She is one of the more
experienced providers in a department
highly regarded for its experience, stability
and successful patient outcomes.
Marion stays abreast of new therapies that
show encouraging results with patients.
She completed advanced educational
coursework in cognitive behavioral therapy,
trauma, sleep disorders, insomnia and
meditation. She has specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma,
sleep disorders, insomnia and meditation.
“I am passionate about my profession and
the tools available to help patients make
positive changes in their lives,” she says.
Marion sees children, adolescents and
adults at Eau Claire Riverview Center.
She also does group and family therapy.
Whether her patients are suffering from
depression, anxiety, attention deficit,
obsessive compulsive disorder or other
mental health conditions, Marion is
eager to listen, assist and develop a plan.

collaborative effort to help patients achieve
their goals for a successful outcome.”
In her free time, Marion enjoys bicycling,
hiking, gardening, and spending time with
her family, friends and grandchildren.
