“My goal is to help patients return to a lifestyle they desire despite hearing loss.”
Suzanne Bilse comes to work each day focused on improving the lives of her patients. Whether it's maintaining their lifestyle or returning to a lifestyle they once enjoyed, Suzanne is as passionate about her job as an audiologist today as she was when she began her career.
“I realized after completing my undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders that working with the hearing impaired was fulfilling and the need was great," she says.
Suzanne earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from UW Stevens Point, and her doctorate degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in Mesa, Arizona.
Suzanne is based at the Eau Claire Center, but spends part of her time seeing patients in Menomonie and Neillsville. “Marshfield Clinic Health System has a great reputation and I always wanted to return to my home area to build my practice."
Suzanne says great advancements have been made in hearing aids and she is seeing younger patients in recent years. “I am here to help my patients make the right choices regarding their hearing health," she says.
Suzanne and her husband Tom have raised their three children in Menomonie. Her family loves Wisconsin sports and Suzanne also enjoys reading, cooking and being active outdoors.
