Certified Nurse Midwife Rayna Lenzner knew she wanted to be a nurse in labor and delivery to care for mothers and infants. In her experience as a nurse, she was drawn to midwifery because of the support that is provided to women during their pregnancy journey.

“I want women to feel informed so they can make decisions that are best for themselves and their families," Lenzner said. "I strive to provide a safe space where women feel supported and respected."

Each stage of life brings its own challenges and Lenzner encourages all women to be active participants in their care.

“It's important to me that my patients know they have a choice," Lenzner said. “I am willing to listen to their concerns and explain all the options to make them part of their care."

Lenzner earned her master's in midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky.

A Wisconsin girl at heart, Lenzner didn't want to go far from her home state. She is happy to be in Marshfield with the small-town community feel. She enjoys being outdoors and loves animals. She has a golden retriever and two cats. Lenzner also enjoys crafting and has made crochet hats for families.
