Emily Rude worked as a nurse for several
years and, after enjoying that experience
so much, knew she wanted to take the next
step in her career.
“I loved my time as a nurse, working closely
with physicians and nurse practitioners,”
Emily said. “After working with so many
great nurse practitioners, I was encouraged
to take the next step and become one myself.”
One of Emily’s passions is preventative

As part of her preventative approach,
Emily enjoys helping patients with
“Motivating people to get them to feel they are in charge of their own health is a really exciting part of my work,” Emily said.
She hopes patients see her as open, welcoming and eager to work with them to achieve their health care goals.
Emily earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire (UWEC). She also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UWEC and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Emily loves to travel and spending time with family. She has been to India, France, England, Scotland and other countries around the globe. Emily has two children.
