Colby/Abbotsford community
Colby is a city with a unique history - mostly centering on the processing of Colby cheese. Abbotsford, located just north of Colby, is located on Highway 29 connecting Wausau and Eau Claire. Both communities provide easy access to larger cities within short drives.

The school systems in the area provide students with excellent educational opportunities. Each has a public elementary school, middle school and high school. In addition, there is one parochial school. Students can continue their studies at either the two-year universities in Marshfield and Wausau, or the 4-year campuses of the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire, Menomonie, or Stevens Point and still remain close to home.
