We offer patients a relaxing environment to try on wigs and head coverings throughout their cancer treatment.
Hair loss can be a common side effect with cancer treatment including chemotherapy (IV or oral), targeted therapy, radiation therapy, and stem cell transplants. Most commonly, complete hair loss is related to cancer treatment with chemotherapy.
Managing side effects such as hair loss is an important part of cancer care and treatment. For many people, hair loss can be a very distressing part of cancer treatment.
We have resources available to cancer patients to help manage their hair loss from cancer treatment.
