We offer competitive pricing and accept most insurance plans including Medical Assistance and Medicare, to help you reduce or avoid out-of-pocket costs.
We also participate in Marshfield Clinic's Financial Assistance program for those who qualify and are unable to pay for all, or a portion, of their care.
Our pharmacists will answer your questions and counsel you on the proper use of prescriptions. You may bring in your medications (including those filled by other pharmacies) for a medication review. Our pharmacists will tell you if, in combination, your medications could cause interactions such as side effects or reduce effectiveness. This service is available by appointment.
We offer drug collection kiosks at our Marshfield Clinic pharmacy locations across Wisconsin. You’ll find MedSafe kiosks at these pharmacy locations:
- Marshfield Medical Center-Eau Claire (medical offices), and Marshfield Clinic Chippewa Falls
- Marshfield Medical Center (medical offices) and Marshfield Clinic Pharmacy on Central Avenue
- Marshfield Medical Center-Ladysmith (medical offices)
- Marshfield Medical Center-Minocqua (medical offices)
- Marshfield Medical Center-Rice Lake (medical offices)
- Marshfield Medical Center-Weston (medical offices) and Marshfield Clinic Merrill, Mosinee and Wausau centers
The MedSafe stainless steel kiosks are designed for patients to insert their unused or expired medications. Medications should be removed from the pill bottle and placed in a zip lock plastic bag before dropping into the kiosk. When the kiosk is filled, authorized persons will safely remove the contents for proper disposal.
If you have a medical condition with more complex medication needs,
Specialty Pharmacy services may provide the extra help and savings you need.
Remote dispensing sites
What is a remote dispensing site (RDS)?
The remote dispensing site (RDS) operates as an extension of a traditional pharmacy. The primary difference is that a pharmacist checks the orders and talks with patients via a two-way video connection instead of being live at the site.
Why have remote dispensing sites (RDS)?
The primary benefit is that the location is able to provide pharmacy services for patients in locations that could not support the higher costs of a traditional pharmacy.
Who is working at the remote dispensing site (RDS)?
Pharmacy technician(s) that work at RDS are legally required to have more experience than technicians in a regular pharmacy setting. The technicians are trained and fully capable of coordinating all of your medicine needs. The pharmacist is supervising from a Marshfield Clinic Pharmacy near the RDS location.
Can I still speak with a pharmacist?
Yes. All patients picking up medicines are legally required to speak with the pharmacist before leaving with the medicine. When your medicine is ready and checked by the pharmacist, the technician will ask you to step in front of the TV screen. This may be directly at a pick-up counter or in a private room. The pharmacist is then able to see and hear you. The pharmacist will speak directly with you and you can speak back as if the pharmacist were live in front of you. This conversation is private and confidentiality is maintained at all times.
