CHIPPEWA FALLS – Marshfield Clinic region of Sanford Health is a proud sponsor of the 15th annual Paint the Town Pink from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, in downtown Chippewa Falls.
Paint the Town Pink, also sponsored by downtown merchants and Chippewa Falls Main Street, features shopping, sales, drawings and prizes, music, health specialists and education, holistic health info, swag bags, wine tasting and most importantly – raising awareness about breast cancer.
“Paint the Town Pink is a great opportunity to socialize and support local businesses, but it also serves as a reminder of maintaining good breast health," said Stefani Lokemoen, Obstetrics and Gynecology Nurse Practitioner at Marshfield Clinic Chippewa Falls and Cornell centers. “Perform regular self-breast exams and get your mammograms scheduled. Early detection is critical to better health outcomes."
Marshfield Clinic will have providers, and staff throughout downtown area businesses to meet the public, answer questions and provide health screening information. Locations include:
- Drewmark Boutique Unique Decor (Connect for Cancer Prevention Study)
- One-of-a-Kind Interiors (Radiology and Quality Improvement)
- Korgers Decorating (Dermatology)
- Off-the-Rack Bridal (OB-GYN and Oncology)
- 3D Fitness (Nutritional Services and Physical Therapy)
- House Blend Lighting and Design (Patient Access/Patient Connection Center)
