Four nursing students recently were named recipients of this year's Marshfield Clinic Nursing Scholarships.
The Clinic awarded a total of $3,000 to eligible full-time nursing students enrolled in a Wisconsin Bachelor of Science nursing program.
The scholarship winners are:
- Natalie Mayeux of Marshfield, Viterbo University.
- Sarah Feig of Marshfield, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
- Jani Morgan of Park Falls, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and Bellin College.
- Jordyn Schemenauer of Marathon, UW-Eau Claire.
"Marshfield Clinic recognizes that a skilled nursing staff is the cornerstone of high quality health care," said Dr. Todd Stewart, Clinic vice president. "Given the nationwide shortage of nurses, the Clinic is committed to ensuring that outstanding students have access to the financial resources necessary to allow for the completion of their education. These scholarships acknowledge the commitment the recipients have made to the nursing profession. We are proud to be able to offer this assistance to our future colleagues."
The Marshfield Clinic system provides patient care, research and education in more than 50 locations in northern, central and western Wisconsin, making it one of the largest comprehensive medical systems in the United States.
