Group Continues to Expand with High-performing Systems

Marshfield – Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) is joining AboutHealth, the statewide health care organization that includes Aspirus, Aurora Health Care, Bellin Health, Gundersen Health System, ProHealth Care, ThedaCare and UW Health.

The system was developed to enhance clinical quality, increase efficiency and improve customer experiences through shared practices.

Now, we have the opportunity to strengthen relationships. Together, we are providing the right thing for Wisconsin and a potential national model for healthcare delivery.”

Jeff Thompson, MD, chair of the AboutHealth Board of Directors and CEO of Gundersen Health System, said, “With Marshfield Clinic Health System , we will have a broader reach across Wisconsin, allowing all of us to increase quality and lower cost more quickly.”

MCHS is joining the state’s most comprehensive network of health care providers. Collectively, the system provides access to care for about 94 percent of Wisconsin’s population and serves patients in neighboring Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Minnesota.

AboutHealth

AboutHealth is a statewide health care organization that includes eight of Wisconsin’s top-performing health care systems makes quality, efficient care accessible to approximately 94 percent of Wisconsinites and their neighbors in parts of Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Minnesota. Members include Aspirus, Aurora Health Care, Bellin Health, Gundersen Health System, Marshfield Clinic, ProHealth Care, ThedaCare and UW Health. Aspirus

Bellin Health

UW Health is the academic health center associated with the University of Wisconsin-Madison. It includes:
