New advances in minimally invasive surgical procedures, menopause and incontinence are among several topics planned for an upcoming Marshfield Clinic women’s health symposium.
The free event, open to the public, is scheduled for 5-6 p.m. on Sept. 9 at Marshfield Clinic Eau Claire Center, 2116 Craig Road.
An Eau Claire Center-based panel of obstetrics/gynecology (OB/GYN) experts will discuss leading-edge treatment options and key medical conditions in women’s health. Attendees will have opportunities to ask questions in an informal setting. In addition, Dr. David Hirsch, an OB/GYN who joined the Eau Claire Center this month and is a Chippewa Valley native, will be introduced.
Drs. Amy Lysy, Melissa Emmerich, and Rebecca England, all longtime Marshfield Clinic OB/GYN physicians, will present on women’s health topics.
Marshfield Clinic Women’s Health Department services include pre and postnatal care, preventive care and minimally invasive treatments.
