Marshfield Clinic Physical Therapy expands services, moves to new location.
The Physical Therapy Department at Marshfield Clinic Clairemont Center is moving to a new location in Eau Claire that will triple the space available to treat patients and allow it to expand services offered.
The new Marshfield Clinic Eau Claire Physical Therapy Center, 1262 W. Clairemont Ave., is about a half mile from its former location, 1002 W. Clairemont Ave. Providers will begin seeing patients Aug. 19 at the new center, which is in the former BioLife Plasma building.
The center, located next to Pizza Hut, has about 12,000-square feet of space extensively remodeled during the past three months. The larger location will allow Marshfield Clinic to enhance its sports performance and conditioning programs.
The new facility will accommodate all of the services provided at the previous location, including general outpatient orthopedics; sports, hand, and manual therapy; women’s health; and industrial and vestibular rehabilitation.
“The demand for specialized therapy services continues to grow, and we’ll be able to better serve our patients and community from this new location,” said Tom Katz, Marshfield Clinic physical therapy manager.
Eleven physical therapists and 5 additional employees will be based at Eau Claire Physical Therapy Center. Marshfield Clinic also offers physical therapy services in the Chippewa Valley at its Eau Claire, Eau Claire Oakwood and Chippewa Falls centers.
