Periodically there are individuals and groups who want to tour Marshfield Clinic. Emeriti can provide expertise and history of the Clinic to groups that wish to tour the entire facility, MCRI, NFMC or other specific locations.

Emeritus Engagement

There are many changes at Marshfield Clinic Health System, but what has not changed is our commitment to you. We understand the importance of maintaining strong connections with our emeritus physicians and leaders, and their spouses, and we are excited to continue to provide you with timely updates, resources, and meaningful opportunities to stay connected with the health system.

Our commitment to you is:

  • Sessions with the MCHS leadership: You will be invited to sessions twice a year to provide timely updates.
  • Communication: The Pulse, which includes the CEO update, will continue to be sent weekly.
  • Important Notices: When family members of Emeritus notify the MCHS Foundation of the passing of an emeritus or spouse, we will send a notice via email.
  • Coffee with the President: Bob Chaloner, MMC-Marshfield President will host two in-person coffee sessions in Marshfield during the summer.
  • Helping you stay connected: Many of you have requested an Emeritus directory. Spring of ’24 you will receive a mailing from the MCHS Foundation, asking you to verify your contact information. Those who respond and choose to be included, will receive a director via email. Watch for your mailing from Jessie Nagel!
  • Social Media: Facebook is a wonderful way to stay connected… we are looking for a volunteer to help set-up and manage an Emeritus Facebook page. We will provide some training to get you started. If you are interested in helping, please contact Caroline Wilm at wilm.caroline@marshfieldclinic.org
  • Reunion: We are exploring the idea of an Emeritus Reunion, if you'd be interested in helping with the planning, please contact Caroline Wilm at wilm.caroline@marshfieldclinic.org; more information to come.

As members of the Marshfield Clinic family, your commitment has helped shape the legacy of our health system. We are extremely grateful for your continued support.
