Medical students in the Internal Medicine Clerkship program at Marshfield Clinic will find themselves developing increased competency in the basic assessment and management of important,

Clerkship features:
This four-week clerkship not only allows for personal, individualized attention for the student, but it also acquaints students with medical illnesses and problems that are encountered
primarily or exclusively in an ambulatory setting. This brief, but intensive, introduction to internal medicine will facilitate the smooth transition from classroom to clinical medicine.
Marshfield Clinic provides an emphasis on compassionate patient care as well as the specific duties of collecting and verifying patient data, interpreting and analyzing this data, and communicating it in written and verbal form.
At the completion of the Marshfield Clinic Internal Medicine Clerkship program, medical students will have accomplished a dually rewarding and significant objective in the postgraduate training preparation process.
