A longtime Rice Lake physician with a history of providing primary and emergency care in northwest Wisconsin is transferring to Marshfield Clinic Rice Lake Center’s Family Medicine Department.
Dr. John Waldron begins his new duties at the Rice Lake Center on Feb. 1. He most recently saw patients in Lakeview Medical Center’s Emergency Department.
“We’re thrilled to have someone with Dr. Waldron’s experience and background joining our Family Medicine Department,” said Jolene Anderson, Rice Lake Center administrator. “He’s well known and well respected in our community.”
Since 1985, Waldron has practiced medicine in the Rice Lake area. He received his medical degree in 1982 from the University of Minnesota, and completed his residency at St. Paul Ramsey Medical Center, now operating as Regions Hospital.
Board certified in family medicine since 1985, Waldron joins the largest family medicine team in northwest Wisconsin.
The Marshfield Clinic system provides patient care, research and education with more than 50 locations in northern, central and western Wisconsin, making it one of the largest comprehensive medical systems in the United States.
